... on the plane we got as much rest as possible.

It was with some anticipation that we landed at Incheon Inter-national Airport (voted #1 by travelers - Skytrax, 2009). It is visually and ascetically pleasurable. There are elegant cultural touches throughout. We enjoyed the two hour respite. Certainly an opportunity to stretch all mayor body parts. Then on to Beijing (less than a 2 hour flight).
Atlanta Airport, Georgia, United States gonzdomAfter a very very long drive, we finally made it to our first Hotel in Twin City Georgia just right outside of Valdosta at 4:00 AM Eastern Time. Our GPS system told us that we would arrive at 4:03 and we pulled in the parking lot at exactly 4:03. The kids did really good in the car, we were very thankful for that. We stopped and ate Cracker Barrell in Kentucky. We ate with the flies in the restaurant and they were driving everybody ...
Twin City, Georgia, United States schubbefamily
Our story begins roughly 700 miles from home in a small town in Georgia. This was the farthest from home Seth and I had ever lived. I lived in Mississippi from a brief few months, but it was never home. When I was dismissed from school every afternoon, I never got the feeling that I was "going home." Louisiana is home to me.
Seth left around a week before I was able to. There were so many things that had to be done before I ...
Millen, Georgia, United States sethnjessnobles... US 1 we stopped briefly to have lunch in Baxley and then a little further still, turned off onto the 56 towards Reidsville where we found Gordonia-Alatamaha S.P. much easier than we had expected. It's a really nice site but there's ************e here. The camp host told us that the weekends in April were busier than they have been in September. It seems the economic climate is starting to have a wider-reaching effect than just home foreclosures (repossessions). The big ...
Reidsville, Georgia, United States thebusmonkeysNICK - I had Georgia on my mind today so we went to Atlanta. Driving into the city centres is becoming a little bit easier as we go along and we soon found ourselves parked right outside the park built to commemorate the city's hosting of the 1996 Olympic Games. Very impressive, too. As with most parks we have found, there is a bandstand just inside the perimeter where there is always live music playing at lunchtime. And this was no exception. It ...

Americus, Georgia, United States kforeman... So after the bingo there was a bunch of us talking. He said he had a gift, so this black woman in her fifties said what. He said look into my eyes, which she did. He then told her that she had three children, one passed away, one 21-22 and youngest 19. The youngest born on a Saturday and the other two on Sunday. Her jaw dropped open. I asked them did they know each other, which they said they did not.He also said he can tell what ...
Atlanta, Georgia, United States sunnysean... on the state of interest and the full itinerary is shown. Random Comments: Some folks think we are nuts to take off driving around the country for several months. In honor of those people, we chose April Fool's Day to begin our adventure. Maybe we are crazy, but we are very excited to see so many wonderful sights in this great country that most of us ...
Statesboro, Georgia, United States roundamericaWe managed to get lost two additional times today. It appears that one of the great challenges of driving around the country on two-lane roads will be FINDING the darned roads. Highway 8 to Dacula (that's Dracula without the R) just isn't marked clearly. We may need that GPS system that Uncle Ward told us to take. We took a number ...
