      ... Another perk about the marina was its convenient location to historic downtown St. Augustine. At least it was within biking distance so First Mate explored this area for a couple of days while the Captain worked on the boat.       Disembarking from one of the best weeks of holidays I have ever had.
      Wish could stay another week. Not much sleep last night. Off the ship and had hire car by 8.30

      A total rainout day today. Optimistically, we drove to Amelia Island, Florida and Fernandina Beach. I am sure on a sunny day, it would be spectacular. We walked around the quaint town, did some driving sightseeing and had lunch at the beach. It pretty much rained all day, but at least it wasn't cold or windy. Looking forward to tomorrow with improved weather and a trip to Cumberland Island. ...

      ... last night. It's pretty uneventful .... I bit different from my last trip but that's a good thing. We are sat outside in the Tiki Bar where a decent reggae band are playing. I have a chowder followed by a rather unhealthily salad. It's got fries on the top covered in cheese.
