... was the Best-man at our wedding. As you can see we have many deep ties together.
Mike and Jenny took us the Black Angus for dinner tonight. Dinner included appetizer, entree, and desert. Lots of food! I think we all took about 1/2 the food home.
When we got back home we watched a DVD of "Casino". Then it was after 11pm so off to bed for all us old folks...

... just up river a bit, we have all four wheels firmly on Californian tarmac. As with the last stretch of Route 66 in Arizona, the Interstate diverges quite a way from Route 66 in the first half of California. We drove through the KNACKERED town of Goffs and after Essex, on a dead straight stretch of road, I let Harry drive for the second time so he could 'get his miles up'. He had the cruise control on for most of his drive as he was driving as they do in America. ...
... came home. Visited with jenny for a bit then went out to dinner at Food Connection in Grand Terrace.
When we got back to the house Dave and Mike watch a football game and Jenny and I looked through the books from out 2010 around the country vacation.
After getting up and showering we walked over to Denny's Diner for breakfast. Back to Motel 6 and pack the car to get ready to move on down the road. Stopped for Gas along the way then forged on to the ...
... our birthday with people we love and care about in the states. I remember celebrating our birthday last year in Argentina and that is something I will never forget but it made me appreciate having people to come to at home as well. Not soon after our birthday was it our lovely mother's (yay mama!) She wants to be 60 so bad but only has one more year to go. Next year we are going to have a big shindig for her so keep that in mind :)
