Today was a trip to a State Park about 1 hour's drive north of Coppell. Whilst most of the drive was along freeways we passed through farming country with horse ranches and cattle before entering the park. Ray Roberts Lake State Park has a 29000 acre reservoir supporting many water activities. The weather was nice and sunny but the wind kept it cool - about 16. I also heard from Judy and Holly, who remained in Spain to hike the Camino de Santiago, a famous pilgrimage route across Spain: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camino_de_ Santiago. I heard a lot of advice from Spaniards about hiking the Camino, and it sounds like an undertaking worth considering. Ming went on to Barcelona for a while before returning to Montreal.
