... that things we had not remembered to pack. When I was young and our family left for a trip, my dad would circle the block until we remembered what to go back home to get. We were both awake by about 6:00 (very unusual for both of us since retiring) and were on the road by about 8:00. Since it is Labor Day, we anticipated extremely heavy traffic but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually very moderate.
... right spot, we just saw there was enough space, so we called the other 2 to join us and we had a great game!
Though it was just a pre-season game, it was awesome. It was my first NFL game and I loved it. And the Carolina Panthers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, the game was not even bad. We had a lot of fun, talked to some very kind people and saw a pretty good game.

Afterwards we wanted to do more climbing courses, but then there was lightnings in the sky and everything got closed down. We did not want to wait until they opened again, because it was already 5pm, so we decided to go home and get something to eat.
We had a really fun and exciting day at the White Water Center and I hope I will get to go there again at some time!

At about 11:00 we were told that repairs were completed but our original flight crew had to be relieved to prevent them from exceeding their maximum hours worked in 24 hour period, so we had to wait until the relief crew could be notified and all get on-board. Finally, we took off again at about midnight. We arrived at CDG in Paris at 2:00 p.m local time.... 7 hours behind ...
... for Teach for America. Caroline was studying for AP exams and seemed a little less than enthused. She seemed ready for summer. Myers Park is beautiful and is just south of Uptown. It reminds me of Roland Park and then we came to find out that it was designed by Olmstead, the same gentleman that designed Roland Park.
The Schicks are awesome and would be great friends if they lived closer. Kara and I love hanging out with them and ...
