As part of my time here at Carnegie Mellon, I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel to Doha, Qatar over Spring Break to tour our Middle Eastern campus. The program is called IMPAQT (Initiating Meaningful Pittsburgh and Qatar Ties) and our goal is not only to foster relationships between the two campuses, but also promote a more hefty exchange program for semester or year-long study.
Last Sunday, the team met for the last time to go over the itinerary and logistics for the upcoming trip that begins Thursday, February 27, 2014. ... line for 15 minutes then got told they were closed. So we, and everyone else in the line, went to Wendy's next door. What unfolded next was hilarious and unbelievable. They completely got our order wrong, tried to offer Steve things via the drive thru speaker box that he hadn't asked for...I guess you had to be there but we were all in tears of laughter.
Tomorrow we head back to Chicago...gonna be a tough morning to say good bye.
