Up even earlier today - the pain!! Had done most of our packing beforehand but Jordan had one of his infamously well timed blood noses which gave us a minor-ish delay. Breakfast good ol' vegemite biscuits slash scones. We had our final information overload of Space history (today was about the shuttle program) & then got to see how much of this info we'd retained with a Jeopardy type game called 'Space Bowl' ...
Up early at Space Camp - ouch! Breakfast included chocolate milk, but a couple of things we could put Vegemite on. We started the day with the 1/6th chair - that gives the idea of walking on the moon. By now we're used to everyone laughing at the Aussies so in addition to the side step, moon walk & bunny hop we did the starfish, the Saturday night fever, the running man & the cheerleader. Ate so much we may have to go to hospital to have a food baby! An awesome day where I think all of the good groups were ...
We got up late after a fitful sleep! Headed off to the Nasa Space Center. Amazing history of space travel and lots of fun things for the kids. A real live space shuttle on site, gives perspective on its immense size and the how astronauts can make there way to space. Precision is a must! What a great day! Off to bed as we pack for a vacation on our vacation...Gatlinburg, Tennessee (borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park), here we ...
