... spare parts -- that actually worked. They were spun around in the MAT. They participated in shuttle missions both as ground control and as mission specialists aboard the shuttle. All of this overseen by a team of dedicated staff, mostly with an engineering background. Who knew learning could be so much fun.
Most importantly they made some great friends from all over the country.
Woke up this morning at 6:30 ( 5:30 ) AL time. Took Nick out for a walk and found some of the good old boys sitting around drinking beer. Just passed them again ( 3:00) and they were still there . Everyone seems to have brought there smoker with them I guess we should have brought ours, along with our Crimson Tide flag. We realized this morning that there was another building ...
... and I was rebooked. At 6pm! So I immediately got online and Delta allows flight changes at no extra cost due to delays. So I rebooked to Ft. Lauderdale getting in at 3 pm. And that airport is actually closer to our condo rental than our original destination of Palm Beach. Hopefully we'll be on our way ...
