      My first year as a teacher of my own classroom is coming up in about a month and a half. I feel strangely calm while am simultaneously nervously anticipating how much I have to do. The training wheels are off. While I know that I will make it, some way, some how, I wonder what unexpected challenges will roll my way.       ... in the skyline we waited in line to go out on the skydeck. For those of you who heard about it cracking a couple of weeks ago this was just the protective coating ontop of the glass, it didn't have any effect on the structure of the ledge. It was still safe! :)

      ... our way towards Chicago, the scenery throughout the evening is rather one-sided yet interesting: rocks and small cliffs along a river with mostly still naked trees… Sometimes we come across old ruins and sad looking towns with houses already falling into pieces.
