For our last night in Salzburg we had dinner at the Chinese buffet across the road. The best part of this place was that you could make your own stir fry and have the chef cook it on the spot. I made myself a kangaroo stir fry with an amazing sauce I now can't remember! It was so good haha.

This time last year I was sitting on a bus recovering from a night bringing in 2014 in Paris with my Contiki family. I was full of excitement for the adventures up coming and optimism for the year that lay ahead.

After that we decided to take the hike up a hill which leads to Franziskischlossl, which I thought was a castle but it turns out its more like a big house, which is now an expensive restaurant. It was a nice walk, about 2km uphill though so I wished I had a sled to go back down on! From the top there was an awesome view over Salzburg and then we headed back down.

... river! They took us to a waterfall about 10 meters high. We started with a small jump so they could teach us how to enter the water properly. F$#k it was cold!!!! About 8 degrees or something and jumping straight into it was such a shock to the system! We then moved to the next jump on the other side which was about 6 meters high. ... t go in and have a look. We found some cool markets which were selling souvenirs, bratwurst sausages, meats and sweets and even massive pretzels. Most of the pretzels weren’t even the original flavour either – there was chocolate, apple, chocolate and nut covered, pizza bread – heaps of things and they were huge, so we came back for an apple flavoured one later on – not bad!
