Buon giorno! Good morning! Yesterday our plans to visit the aeolian islands didn't work out so we visited the coastal town of Cefalú instead and hoping to see the islands tomorrow. Cefalú is about an hour drive from where we are at in Furnari. We take the autostrada, the super fast highway, with beautiful views of the mountain on one side and the sea view on the other. ... in the middle of nowhere, well actually in the middle of the north coast of Sicily. We did take turns walking outside while the other sat with our packs. Finally time to go out to the binario (train platform) and as I am walking around taking photos, Mike notices some graffiti on a wall. How weird is this as our friends Charlie and Nanci's last name, Gabri, was right there. Charlie is Italian so maybe this name is like Smith in the US?? Of course we had to take ...

Still having fun in Cefalu. Went shopping today bought an awesome raincoat, shoes to match... All Italian made.
