This anchorage saw us pass some pretty major mega yachts including Topaz which is the
4th largest super/mega yacht currently in the world.
The anchorage is in a lovely spot, although very few normal (i.e ...

... moving faster than the others but all looking out for each other. Rosanne and Silvana both have their hands on their hips and are plodding along in front of us ...gone are the beach babes with laughter and giggles instead they are part of a mountain goat group plodding along pausing to drink to keep hydrated.... they are not smiling! ... poo on Dawson's boat!

We loved Bonifacio and not just because it's French! We walked the ramparts of the medieval city high above the port and had the best meal of the trip so far...yes, it was French of course!

However we we did have a deadline and so we sailed on on Sunday morning and meandered through the islands north of Sardinia, which form part of a marine protection zone. The navigation ...

Just checking that everyone is on the ball & spotted my deliberate error on the entry for Sardinia!

yep...Rig, instead of RIB which obviously stands for Rigid Inflatable Boat! Caused great hilarity from J...What have you written Mum?!

for those non horsey folks amongst you, a rig is a gelding who has stallion tendencies, & is therefore quite a familiar word to me as opposed to Rib!! Ha ha!
