      ... exhausted but exhilarated. Fantastic dinner that night at the Hotel Centrale, venison for me and beef bourginone for John. Powered up and hoping for another great day tomorrow.

      ... we decided to catch a waterbus down to St Marco to have a look around. It really is beautiful here. Although I have to say a lot if the buildings look dilapidated. The waterways are chaotic with gondolas and ferries going every which way! As per the car parking there are no rules on the water ways. You just have to dodge other boats or back up!       ... mainland was a bit disappointing.Band of gypsies living behind hotel,great!! Went over to Venice for dinner tonight.Water taxi then beautiful dinner in lovely restaurant with whole group.Then walked around and saw St Marks square at night (awesome).Private water taxi back to bus.Venice at night was so beautiful.
