    Today we visited the UNESCO town of Telc. Pronounced Telch like belch. Un untouched 16th. century town.

    Had a limited castle tour as they are filming the movie "Emperor". Barbara auditioned for a solo and got the part!! Only problem, we can't be here for the rest of the filming.

    ... good to be out and walking.

    We arrived back in town, had lunch, and went to find the synagogue in town. The building was open, so we went in, and found a lovey sanctuary and a little museum which gave the history of the family who started the synagogue. The museum was small, but very engaging and informative. Now the building is used for concerts.

    By the time we were ready to start our adventures the morning haze lifted and the sun and bright blue sky greeted us. We walked up the hill to the Castle, a huge complex that dominates the town.     ... It’s interesting as a lot of these buildings have 2 to 4 restaurants in them each. Sadly our food was bland but it filled the spot for a quick meal. I even got a Cappy orange juice drink! Very Chinese! Then rode home before we got too cold in our skimpy cycling gear (of course pushing up the last part as our Penzion is up a steep slope!)

    ... for a few clouds in the distance so the shinning stars and moon added to the charm of the town, the river flowing through the city created added to the calmness that wound its way around the town uninterrupted by the few people wondering around.
