    ... recommended hike but heavy rain overnight and heavy skies as I head down for breakfast are a little off-putting. But I intend doing my thirteenth hike irrespective so it looks very much like another slog in the rain.

    ... a lot less enticing to all of us so we decided to go back to tourist information and see if there was another mountain we could drive up. So, we had to drive back through the Alps back to Interlaken.     ... head to Hallstattsee, for a few days R&R at a campsite right on what is described as one of the more beautiful lakes in Austria. Unfortunately, due to Summer holidays, and it being a weekend, we couldn't get a campsite so we stayed in a car park, overlooking the lake, just around the corner from the campsite, with Spanish and German neighbours.     This morning we woke up in a complete white-out. It was fantastic :) We spent the first ten minutes of the day just ooh'ing and ahh'ing outside at all the snow flakes.
