I catch a train in heavy rain from Gstaad for the 30 minute trip to Zweisimmen (948 m) then a gondola lift up to Rinderberg (2,011 m) for the start of the relatively short two hour hike ...

... surrounding us. The road and the train line run parallel to each other and are right on the edge of the Lake. What an incredible sight to see each day. I wonder if those who live here realise how beautiful it is.

It was very easy to find our accommodation for the night. We are staying at Manor Farm campground in a great cabin, very comfortable and well equipped. There are homes just next to us separated by a hedge and Lake Thun is only metres ...

... in a Pakistani/Indian restaurant (which country are we in again?? But we were over the cheese, pork, veal and potato which make up many traditional Swiss meals!)

Tomorrow is a long travel day of close to eight hours where we take a train from Interlaken to Karlsruhe in Germany and then on to Munich. We have one evening in Munich (the second time we've been there on this trip) before we pack our bags ready to fly to Dubai!
