More wet weather on the drive to Lindau through the southern part of the forest into Bavaria. Lindau, on the shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee) is bordered by Austria and Switzerland with an Italian influence. We found ourselves a lovely room on the insel (Island) and walked every part of it. We settled into a cosy pub for our last evening in beautiful ...

We left Ottobeuren and drove onto Lindau. The past 3 days were great however the smell of cow manure is one we won't forgot and get out of our nostrils for awhile.
They spray the manure all over the fields and Soph and l couldn't stop laughing when Phil was filling up with petrol and the truck in the next paddock was hard at work. The stench was over powering.

We left Lindau and drove to Rosenheim. Along the way I saw lots of very big mountains with snow on the top. There was even piles of snow on the side of the road. We stopped in the parking lot and I jumped in the snow.I could feel how cold the snow was through my gloves.

Soon we will be in Austria and hopefully seeing more mountains with snow.

... pretty normal for tourists to feel the effects pretty strongly. It's all relatively cheap as well.

Walked around a store that sold coo coo clocks and large beer steins. Found a grocery store and was fortunate enough to come across more banana Granini, bought another liter for breakfast. Came back to hostel and got my dog fix by petting one of the hostel worker's dogs (golden retriever) for about a half hour. Going to bed soon to prepare for early ...

... of a mountain that I was able to dart around on for a half hour or so. Came back down to the autobahn, re-entered germany, and hit heavy traffic for most of the way back to munich. Returned the car, grabbed my pack from the hostel, boarded train to Fuessen. Currently on train writing this, should arrive in fuessen in 5 minutes (it's 11:22 local time right now). In a carriage with a bunch of loud, drunk, obnoxious german people. Quite the contrast to the ...
