    ... her life and never seen it blue). The city is built on what is essentially a peninsula, surrounded by all of the rivers, and really looks beautiful from an aerial view.
    The rivers do create lots of flooding challenges, with the most recent flood having occurred on June 6, 2013 (one of the worst in history), reaching up to the middle of the second story of many buildings (at least 30 feet above the level today).

    ... can hear people's accent is different here, they say "Jo" instead of "Ja", they're relaxed and welcoming... Are they to Germans what Belgians are to us? At some point we had to cross the Danube to follow the path and the guy there asks for 2 euros per passenger to go 100m. Merp. Anyways, we're on course to be in Vienna by Saturday night, so all is good, except we need to rest our weary legs ...

    ... and insisted that we take rolls and ham and cheese for our lunch – so we did. We didn’t even make a dent in the food. There is another couple staying here too and even they could never have eaten through the mountain of food which was provided. This place is an absolute bargain.     ... grand feeling city, especially as we walked into the old town across a wide bridge, which met with the old town via a huge gate. Imposing old buildings and statues looking down at us as we arrived, it all felt quiet romantic and beautiful. Our hostel was just on the edge of the old town, and we found a nice alternative/studenty district to have a cheap eat before tucking in for a rest before our next ride, into the Czech republic.
