... pretty much turns to liquid (like a cheese sauce), you pour it into your plate and dip all your food into it! While you're eating that- on goes your next piece of cheese to melt. ... as this winter has been very mild. The view from the house is incredible! The house is cute and old fashioned with a wood oven and an outdoor fridge. ... so we had dogs on the train as well - very interesting. Someone was about to start smoking but no guesses as to who pointed out the "no smoking" sign so he put his smokes away (thank goodness). So another 2.5 hours and we were in Tirano. Checked in and had dinner of beef medallions (200gm steak) and mushrooms before our train ride to St Moritz tomorrow. Walking to dinner came across the most unlikely shop!! ...

... Kaunertal, which is actually just the name of the glacier. We made our way to our hostel, and found out we were actually in an apartment-like room! We had our own kitchen, living room area, and we even had a balcony that overlooked the town and the mountains in the background! It was fabulous. (Or just fab as Rachel would say!)
