... bring your date to have a romantic evening. (Sounds great right?!) This park is also a place to remember the take down of Nazi monuments after World War II. Bratislava also has many memorials for the Jewish community that doesn't really exist anymore because of WWII.
We went to the main square that has a lot of beautiful buildings and mansions that we were able to go in to see. One of the buildings still had a canon ball stuck in it from Napoleon!

... it was a relief, and it was worth it. The old area of town is beautiful, and there is a big old castle high on the hill so we knew we were in the right spot! We thought it was a time for an ice cream stop, but were really disappointed by the quality of it… It was from a powder mix we think because it was such an artificial flavour, and there seemed to be balls of powder that were not very nice when you found them!! Par didn't even finish his!
