... best strudel, and I'm sure her heritage was from somewhere near here. It was so surprising to find out that you roll the strudel with a tablecloth! They just lift the dough with the cloth and it rolls on it its own. After the demonstration, we all got the recipe and a taste with a cup of coffee or tea.

Tonight, we have the Captain's cocktail party and dinner. It'll be a little dressier than the usual dinners, but not formal. NOTHING has been formal on this cruise at all. ...

... horses out after their training sessions, which last about an hour and a half each day. Then we entered the stables where we learned about the three different facilities the school owns. The have the Vienna property that we visited, a training barn, and the breeding facility where all of their stallions come from. We learned that the school only shows stallions because the famous movements they are known for are only natural for stallion as a part of their mating rituals ...

And I thought Hungarian looked hard...

... cheese-covered dough did (makes sense, right?) so we ordered up three massive pizzas at a little Italian place and filled up for the night. Of course, there's always a little room for ice cream, and Brittany led the way in our search. Chelsea and I hung back behind her, and I told Chelsea she was watching a master at work as Brittany's ears seemed to perk at the sensation of nearby but unseen desserts; in fact I was going to title this post "Like a pig sniffing for truffles" ...

... kindly bestowed upon me a knight statue so that I could begin my own stuff collection. Its sailing back to Australia as I type. We then stopped for brunch at (yet another) christmas market where I sampled the local waffles. Much tastier then the ones back home, they had a very light and springy texture which complimented nicely the river of nutella which flowed across it.
