    ... around the mountain peaks and we knew it was time to book it down - before we took some pictures, that is! :-)

    We made record time getting down - and found the cable car just waiting for us. Raining rather hard by this time . .. Good to use the raincoats we have been carrying around with us this entire week! We loaded the vans and headed for the hotel, with only one stop at a sports store, where several of us ...

    We left the hotel around 10:00. Found our way to the start of this hike. Through several villages and a long way down this narrow road, built only for one vehicle at a time. And we have a large vehicle! Avi and Colette decided to stay behind this morning. Plenty of restful things to do right here at La Cacciatora!

    So - there were two ways to get to this waterfall - by a dirt road or by this hiking ...

    Well we made it. After finding our way out of Innsbruck, we climbed for 36 kilometers to the summit of Brenner pass and over the top into Italy. All in all it was a good first day. Total distance for the day was 67 kilometers. Bikes are working well and we are settling in. We will see how far ...

    ... was dressed warmly. Jojo, Tom, and Big D were in shorts! Thinking that we were going to freeze! Lots of clouds around! However, when we alighted on top - the sun was out - above the clouds. It was incredibly beautiful and very warm! :-). We took picture after picture. No need to write much today as the pictures tell the story of this incredible hike!
