Oops, forgot to add pictures of the ice caves to yesterday's blog, Pete risked breaking German rules in taking the pics so I better post some. With 3 hours of driving in total today and for the next few days the plan would be to arrive in a new place and explore the aim was to arrive in Graz for lunch. Only one stop on the way, Hallstatt, Austria. The GPS took us via a single lane backroad through the Austrian country and weaving through dainty farmhouses. Guessing not many tourists ...

... it enroute, as I have time (a few hours) and Wifi onboard. Marnie, imagine if we'd had Wifi back in the day when we travelled from Nice to Paris (or was it Paris to Nice)? The marriage proposal on board (playful, not real) and the pictures we took with so much laughter would be emailed back home and posted to our blogs or FB! I still have time to look out the window, enjoy, dream, and take photos. My little world is ...

    Wien to Graz

A travel blog entry by gandablog on May 26, 2014

... br> The trip over the Semmering pass was
as spectacular as indicated in the literature. The train was a real
contrast to the rattletrap we recently took up to Albury. Very
smooth, free wifi on board, display screens with info about next
stop, speed, current location maps, and of course, on time.
At Graz we walked around to our
apartment. It is perfectly adequate and ...
