... when he started talking about "Jimmy sleeping bag", but it was crushed ruthlessly, and he seems to have completely abandoned the idea ( though he was on my sleeping mat when I went to bed last night). I'm not sure which is more hopeless, his mat or mine - both have about 20 or 30 smudges of silicone or rubber glue on them where I've tried in vain to seal up the myriad holes that they have. It's nothing to do with thorny campsites, they're just rubbish cheap Kathmandu brand ...

Picking Up where we left off, we arrived at JFK and made it on our plane and then they figured out there was a delay..... a 2 hour delay... We sat on the runway and all seemed to keep ourselves entertained until takeoff.... And that's when it happened American Airlines served John Pinard wine in a plastic bottle .... Not good... But he drank it in spite of them. The flight finally landed in Zurich at 9:30am after 10 hours we were glad to get off that plane....the Zurich Airport ...

We didn’t rush this morning, drank our tea and appreciated
the beautiful setting. The sun was shining and it was about 22 degrees when we
got going at 9 ish.
Not the best of starts, we went in the wrong direction
through a long tunnel (wake up Miss Charming, she doesn’t like tunnels) but
once we had turned around, ...
... As if a day hadn't passed, Chatrigna delighted my palette again with a home cooked dish called "Pizzorecchi," made with buckwheat noodles, potatoes, some veggies and four varieties of locally produced cheese.
On Thursday, we went off to a few scenic viewpoints nearby. Chatrigna told me that this was fortunate timing as there is a small window in the Alps for the flowers to bloom in Spring between the snow melting and heat of the summer, so we hiked ...
