... a Zurich city tour (again) showing the main sights. Then we followed Lake Zurich to Rapperswil, known as the City of Roses. Marcello entertained us with jokes based on the nationalities of the passengers on board which had most chuckling. We walked on to visit the 15ft high rotating statue of a prostitute named Imperia…large busted and wearing just a robe and what could only be called a very small pair of lace knickers. ... is one of the Unesco World Heritage Sites. This place was filled with priceless books handwritten by monks during the Middle Ages. It's a dimly lit confection of ceiling fresco, stucco, cherubs and parquetry. Only 30,000 of the total 150,000 volumes are in the library at any one time.
