      ... through this we continued along the Rettenbachtal Valley, still with the towering cliffs on either side, but not as narrow, and gradually got wider and lower as we walked steadily, but gently downhill. Plenty of side tributaries to the main river that would be quite something to see crash down the slopes with the spring melt. Not sure that the track would be passable then.       ... 35 minutes with one stop on the way. Views from the top were 360o and superb on such a clear day. Could see everywhere we had walked and where we are going pretty much.       ... lake and only a small part of it freezes as it is deep. We walked around one end of it to Unterach where we were staying. Although it was the most perfect day there was not a lot happening there as most businesses and hotels have closed for the season.
