Our last day in Achenkirch before we have to drop the car off in Innsbruck. we chose a simple walk from the hotel up on to the mountains behind the hotel. Kögelalm was the target. ... had booked into the hotel's Nordic Walking group for 12 o' clock; swift lunch back in the hotel, then out to meet our trainer/guide who kitted us out with walking sticks and then led us on an explanatory jaunt round and round the hotel car park. Uplifting
... balletic grace (well, nearly!). It was a really good couple of miles' walk in warm sunshine, culminating in yet another enforced pit-stop at the café. Lunch al fresco and then back down to the valley bottom via the gondola.
