Snow peaked mountains surrounded us as we viewed some filming locations most identified to the movie based on the Von Trapp family. Dinner allowed us to try some of the more traditional Austrian food, pork schnitzel and dumplings, while we got into the local spirit of beer drinking! After dinner, we tried ...

    ... our conversations in German.

At home, we went to eat at this Chinese buffet. After spending three weeks in China, I and my stomach were not feeling the Austrian food that was masquerading as Chinese, but it was all right.

Now, time to study for my German quiz tomorrow and actually get a night of sleep. We, the Sassy Seven, totally won travel weekend.
