Took the train from Nuremberg to Munich. Encountered a group of refugees. Pretty difficult to get through with all the police that were there as well. I thought we might miss our train!! We didn't miss this connection although it is really full. One more transfer and we will be in ...

We spent the morning at the salt mine. The tour starts with putting coveralls on. We then went on a mini train. If you were taller than 6 feet you have to be careful because there is not much headroom. The tunnels are very narrow. You start the tour by sliding down a 50 foot wooden slide to the mine. We toured the cemetery by St. Peter's church and ...

The one we liked was €8000! Hmmm pretty sure that would break our budget haha. Found a nice home-wares shop too, could've walked away with most of the items in the store (Mum and Dad you would have loved it too). By this time it was close to dinner time - ...

... the way. We stopped off at the lake where the house is on. But bit of Hollywood magic is that the front of house is different from the back of house. Even the back terrace area is in a different area (like the steps leading up the house aren't there) so when they are talking they are often shooting in two different areas of Salzburg to get the correct backgrounds. Then back on bus to see the glass thing they have the romantic bits in. But again, stupid ...
