      ... boulevard at the heart of historic Berlin & thought to be the grandest street in the city. We passed many major sites but the highlight was the Brandenburg Gate and the beautiful Reichstag. This building, now the German Parliment, mixes the grandeur of old-world architecture with a modern glass dome that sits on top of it. It is quite stunning to see lit-up & glowing at night.

      We had to save room for Salzburg's best restaurant, the 1-Michelin starred Ikarus. Located in Hangar-7 at the airport, it is a very modern & unique setting.       ... Austria, but it was independent. We are certainly learning lots of interesting things on this trip. After a tour of Salzburg on foot, we saw the Magic Flute opera at the Marionette Theater.
