... surrounding areas were beautiful, so it didn't really matter. The water was a crystal clear blue colour and the sky was spotless of any clouds. We walked all around the town, across the river and into the outer skirts. We took a bus tour around the city and went up to a massive park and out near where they have their winter sports stadium.

... to get back up after falling over. We then went up the moving strip (where I had earlier fell off) and down the baby slope. It was fast and fun and we had to dodge children on toboggans who had no sense of direction. ... and many of the attractions are low priced at around €4. I would only recommend the Innsbruck card if you are going to be in Innsbruck for 72 hours or if you want to see the more highly-priced attractions such as the Ski Jump and the Imperial Palace.

There is a lot to see in Innsbruck, but it is also a beautiful city which you can wander around for hours. It's a truly magical place with many hidden wonders and a real charm about it. Well worth a visit!
