... notes in both Czech and Euro – really handy and unexpected. Bad news was that when I went down I had a clueless group in front of me.

This German guy was the bumbling leader of the group and took 4 minutes to buy 3 tickets for 3 families with bikes. Took me 20 seconds when I finally got aa chance to get mine. Guy in front of me was getting really impatient too and later only took him 10 seconds to buy a ticket. The guy would put in ...

We must have a thing about going to places undergoing construction, because much of the old town was undergoing some pretty major refurbishment work so there were tractors and diggers and scaffolding blocking some streets. Our goal was to climb up the observation tower located on the top of ...

On the road to Spicak to ski resort area to catch ski lifts for downhill mountain biking. Sadly we missed the world championships which were on here a few weeks back.

Phil is jumping out of his skin with excitement and checking out the runs from the lift. On way up observed a guy crumpled and groaning off a fall he'd taken on his bike. Medical were called in to get him off the mountain.

Bike runs are separate to ski runs and vary from 3.5km to 10+ ...

... so intrigued by the variety of glassware we forgot there was a 2 hour limit in the car-park. When we finally got back, there were 2 tickets on the car which we thought was a bit mean, before realising that one ticket was for the front number plate and one was for the back. Raewyn had forgotten to change the number plate at the back after we unhooked the car. There was also a note ...
