    Today we went to the world heritage site Dachstein Salzkammergut. It was really interesting but also disappointing. The day started again gloomy and very wet, we did not start on our adventure until eleven. But we did see the runners involved in the half day Martin run pass our hotel.     ... it was there, painful and annoying. We decided due to the inclement weather, it was raining properly now and the clouds down low that we would not take the cable car above the township to look at the view nor would we take the boat trip. Instead we had coffee at an historic inn and then proceeded to stroll around the town. The old town has very narrow lanes and no cars are allowed in without a special permit.
