What a magic day! Last week here, in Lauterbrunnen, it was -5 degrees and it's been raining since then. Today the sun came out and temps were in the early 20s. A real treat because this was the day we conquered the Jungfraujoch. Well, conquered probably isn't the right word; rode up in a train inside the north face of the Eiger and emerged via high speed lift at the top of Europe! The temp there was a bit chillier at -1.2. Even needed my woolly hat, but ...

After breakfast, Sarah and myself walked up to the waterfall whiskey Lisa napped. We got to stand in a little cave in the mountain behind the waterfall which was a little bit cool. We then went back to collect Lisa for another trip into the Main Street. Unfortunately though it was Sunday so there were ...

I wasn't as sore as I thought I was going to be. Shoulders and arms a little, but not bad.

We went to the top of the Schilthorn today, one of the tallest mountains in the region. We drove twenty minutes to Lauterbrunnen, a beautiful mountain town surrounded by sheer cliffs and a huge waterfall falling almost directly into town. From there, it was a six minute cable car ride up 2500 feet to Grutschalp, then we hopped a little train and rode 15 minutes ...

      Snowboarding in the Alps

Part of the appeal of Switzerland besides the skating was the potential for some Spring snowboarding, and I was especially excited after a relatively dry Colorado Winter to experience some of the snow that the Alps is rather famous for.

First off, here is a very rough edit of the footage I collected of us in Colorado, it is quite long and quite a rough edit, but it is mostly for the sake of finally ...
