... part of the village and went to eat, ate a Döner box. Then we walked to the Herzog-August-Biblothek and Lessinghaus for a tour by Librarians. It was very interesting and you could tell that these Women knew so much since they are surounded by books all day everyday. Then we took the bus back to Braunschweig. The village was easy to get to and I would definitely go back!
Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, Germany plcouttsiep... of steel were so hot and heavy!
We listened in German which got hard after about 1 hour because focusing was difficult. It was probably a lot more interesting to the Civil and Mechanical Engineers. In any case it was a neat place to visit but I definitely did not feel like they have too many other safety precautions in place. I stayed between the "yellow walking lines" but sometimes I felt as if my shoes would melt from the hot floor!
... and drawing books. Needless to say how happy and excited I was already seeing radiant kids`faces in front of my inner eye. Anja doesn't know yet that she'll have a 50% share of this to carry, hehe. Another funny incident that occurred to me was meeting Claudia on a party last Saturday. She went to Delhi for a 6 months internship and decided at the end that she wasn't ready to leave yet. Hence, she enrolled at an Indian ...

Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany valdellobin... of bed and she tricked me into going to one of Hannover's tourist spots--gardens that had previously been the palace gardens. I thought we were just going to lunch. Anyway, although the palace is gone, the gardens were still there and were beautiful--they even included a moat, several fountains, and a maze. Unfortunately, my camera broke while we were in the gardens so I don't have any pictures, but they were pretty cool. Afterward, we ...
Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany moppet77... most of the time. So I decided to go on a short vacation that time.
My Indian pen pal told me about that couchsurfing a couple of month ago. So I wanted to try it. I was thinking about a destination, some place I always wanted to visit but never did. That’s why I chose London.
I booked a ticked and one week later I was on my way to the airport.
... and restaurant. We took time out for lunch in the large tray-s**vice caffet**ia before walking around the snowy summit to enjoy the views of the surrounding Harz National Park from the highest peak in north**n G**many (1141m). As the trains return as soon as they arrive we had to take the following train back down, leaving 1 and a half hours aft** our arrival, at 1:33pm. This timing worked well with our activities at the peak although in the warm** months or it would be nice ...
Wernigerode, Germany v1213... Warstein** be** (finally!). We dined with real crock**y around our table as we tilted into the curves and hurtled through the countryside v**y smoothly at 200km/h - extremely civilised. As if this wasn't enough, aft** our meals w**e completed and cleared away DB provided us with free chocolates! This appears to be a regular ICE 1st class p**k and they w**en't just cheapo Cadbury, we're talking really good chocolate cabinet stuff h**e, mmmmmmmm ...
Wernigerode, Germany v1213After just a short time in Mainz I went North to visit my friend Andi at my first university in the Harz mountains. And it wasn't even raining there! Normally Clausthal gets so much rain and fog that you hardly see the sun - and I have 3 years of experience to be able to say it's true :-)
