One extreme to another!
... which is the ruins of an ancient city near the river. It was not damaged by any volcano, but was abandoned for some reason. It was huge. We spent 3 hours wandering around the place. We then headed back to our hotel. We took the shuttle over to the airport to make sure our flights were OK. Then back to the hotel for some relaxing and dinner.

Families with very small children, teens, lovers, they all burst through the door gesturing with their hands, talking loudly, enjoying themselves immensely. What a gem of a place! I guess we landed ourselves in a ristorante locale, which means less money spent eating, while enjoying a good dose of the Italian culture as a bonus. Our last day. I don't want to leave the mountains! Slept in this morning, Downloaded all of our vacation pictures to the computer, then went to lunch at our favorite Madison Restaurant where we had an invite for a private lunch cooked especially for us today, by Mauro. Day 2
