Come back to hotel about 1300 and started to pack suit cases and get things organized for our journey up to visit Ricarda in Greifswald. Had a afternoon nap. Went down to bar at 1800 and caught up with Narelle n Gerrard from Darwin. Had tea with them in hotel and went back to their room until midnight. Great night ...

We had an appetizer called Schlutzkrapferl which was like potstickers stuffed with cottage cheese and spinach and covered with butter. Larry had goulash, Erin had the Brauhauspfand'l, Derek had Weinerschnitzle and I had the Grostl. We walked back in the dark and spent the evening listening to Austrian music, and blogging etc.

... VERY cold and it got down to 7 degrees there. So I wore my new warm coat – tag still on it as I hadn’t taken it off yet. We had a nice light lunch in a pretty café. On to Salzburg.
