    Today we left he Plitvace lakes for the drive to Slovenia and our brief stay in Ljubljana. It wasn't too long and we arrived at lunchtime. We checked into our hotel and joined the group for a walking tour around the city.

    ... late afternoon and drove along the coastline of the calm Adriatic Sea and cruised our way toward Piran. When we arrived we were surprised to be greeted by boom gates and as it turned out vehicles were charged for the time spent in the town. We entered and drove along the waterside which was open to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic on one side and with beautiful Venetian style architecture on the other.
