... and I’m reporting you to HostelBookers tomorrow as a fraud! That’s all there is to say, except that you better not charge my credit card, or then I’ll report you to the police! Y puedo hablar espanol tambien.”
It would just be nice if the $100 room were nice, not just four walls and a boob tube. The phrase ‘boob tube’ has meaning here, too. Late-night Spanish TV has sex ads that ...

Today, we started from France, and drove a few miles into Andorra. So we have now done 10 of the 11 countires!!
Photos to follow, I'll just go back and put some news on the other days, then get photos loaded up. That takes ages.
... the watershed and we drop into the Spanish frontier town of Bourg Madame. We continue east across a wide plane undulating over the Col De Llous (1345m) and the Col De la Perche (1570m). From here a unbelievably long descent takes us nearly al the way to our
hotel. Prades has a reassuringly Mediterranean feel about it, with lots of courtyard cafe's and
clay tiled roofs.
WHAT I EXPERIENCED:
... hopefully next year ...), and I'd only misplace or forget about them if I kept them.
The bus was quite empty, with only maybe 10 people on board - I would soon find out why this was the case ... I arrived in Andorra, and stopped at the TI to check on connections to France - only a very early (around 6 AM) or late afternoon bus was available to the nearest French town. ******! Luckily, I am going to Toulouse tomorrow, and there is actually a bus ...
The monastery-turned-hotel Núria, north of the town of Ribes de Freser in Catalunya, Spain is an excellent destination for walking. There are several peaks around the hotel, enabling you to do comfortable and rewarding day-treks. Some peaks: Noufonts, Noucreus, Eyne, Puigmal... (can't remember all names right now). Altitude from 2000 to 3000 meters.
Núria, Catalunya, Spain and Canary Islands slun... pass (right in the middle of a ski hill) and south of Andorra before turning back up to the country. Now PG does things in strange ways but for this I will be eternally grateful. It was beautiful with the sun shining on the snowy peaks, the stone villages in the valley, the ruins of old outposts. Really sugoi!! With all the photo stops and windy road we still managed to get to our hotel by 18:30. They gave me the internet rate I wanted and all is ...
Andorra la Vella, Andorra marybcProbably like you, I had no idea there was a country located between France and Spain. Well, turns out there is - a beautiful little country located in the middle of the Pyrenees mountains called Andorra. Though the smallest European country, it has the second longest life expectancy of any country in the world and is renowned for ...
Andorra la Vella, Andorra trent... from Dan Johnson (the message title was the stunningly accurate "**** hole") that explained the best drinking was to be found in a village called Soldeu about 40-50 minutes north of the capital. ****ing Andorra. I was finding it hard to like this country at all. No nightlife in the capital for ****s sake- even Skopje, the grey **** that serves as the Macedonian capital, can muster up a decent Irish boozer (and an English one as well). I wandered back towards the bus ...
Andorra la vella, Andorra englishanddrunk... know - so we get some nice comfy beds to sleep in. In the morning the children are up early making a fair bit of noise but most of us manage to keep ourselves in bed due to tiredness. When we all wake we find that Sian has been keeping the children occupied for the last hour or so - how nice of her. There is one obvious thing we want to do today, and that is go and play in the snow! Being from England we get minimal snow year round and when it comes ...
Canillo, Andorra neil_edwards... t have time to search through his winter layers and find his watch, because our chair was almost already out of hearing distance. "Okay! Thank you!" said the Czech. Some Spaniards in the chair behind us yelled that we didn´t have a lot of time before I had to be back at work. We did a couple more runs. I was swaying back-and-forth on the board pretty good, changing directions with the confidence of a Himalayan rattle-snake. We neared the end of one run. The cute Czech ...
