What an exciting day today was, my cousin Jennifer and her husband Richard and 2 daughters Merlin and Carmen drove down from Holland to spend the day with us in Disneyland, it was so good to see her again after 18 months, her husband was surprised at how our conversations just seemed to have continued on like we hadn't had 18 months apart. Darrin and Richard have the same sense of humor (god help us all), and their 2 girls are just gorgeous, Carmen ...

... some Rules for table choice- most of the restaurants that we have been to seem to have smokers and drinks only customers on the outside seating, while those wanting meals are seated inside. We always want to be outside near the street, as I love watching the people go past and looking around at the street stores and vendors which means we break that particular unspoken rule. Then when the menu comes out it is often completely in French, which is fine, we know ...

Today marks the last portion of our amazing holiday. We checked out of historic and picture perfect Colmar, then rode the TGV back to Paris. The rail system in Europe is amazing. Our train in Colmar took us to the big city of Strasbourg, the capital of the European Union. There we switched to the TGV train for a direct trip to Paris. Our train began its journey in Munich and had already passed ...
