... and considering there are baguettes, cheese and croissants or pastries with everything I wondered why...possibly because dining is 'an experience' - we didn't seeing anyone eating on the run, they all sit at cafes or restaurants, didn't see any obvious junk food places (at least not in the proportions at home) and their portion sizes are not massive...

After a full day I jumped into bed and had the best night sleep I have had since I got to Paris, maybe because there was no one singing outside my window until 2am :)

We found a place to have one final drink with Stefan and Marianne before they went back to their place and left early the next morning. We had looked at one place but the music was too loud for some of the group. We had also seen quite a few rats running through the area!
We managed to make our way back to our place without much of a problem.
I love the atmosphere of the busy Parisian street. Paris is amazing. You wake up, get dressed and go and buy a $1 croissant from the nearest bakery.
