      ... train journey to Paris, arriving at Gare de Nord. Now for the next 1.5 hrs working out how to buy a ticket (got a 3 day pass €24), which platform and which direction.       ... is what I really really wanted. The ears were adorable and I wore them all day. I also really wanted to go on the tea cup ride. We split up with Debbie and Declan because they wanted to do their own thing. So mum and I made our way to the tea cups and lined up.       ... close to the metro, shops etc. We wandered down a street nearby. At first glance, the buildings along the streets of Paris weren't as imposing as the buildings in London. They were still large but it seemed more light and spacious - perhaps it was just because there was sunshine! It was quite warm in France - it's hard to believe there could be that much difference in weather just across the channel.       ... of the line and it made my day because I got a Go Gators from all of them! Must have been a study abroad group or something. The people in front of me finally breakdown at about 10:30 and go across the street to get McDonalds. They come back and Blasphemy! Mcdonalds fries in Paris are wedges! Not the thin ones famous back home. I have been strong and haven't eaten mcds while in Europe but I couldn't believe their fries are different. They also have a ton of different sandwiches ...
