Wow what an amazing 3 days we have had here in Barcelona and safe to say that Barcalona is my favourite Spanish city. It is spacious, well set out, clean and humming. We are staying in a parking station which isn't the best place we have stayed but it is really close to everything, we have a tram out the front door which gets us everywhere. We have done a lot of walking over the last few days but that is part of the experience. We ...

As we near the Camp Nous, the FC Barcelona stadium, Norm starts to look like a 5 year old on Xmas. Umm, honey, do you want to get off and see the stadium? It's ok you know....We do, and they have quite the setup. We tour the museum, get to go on the field, visitors locker room, the press box so high in the sky. They have ...

... the menu so the lovely waiter offered to order for us, enough tapas for 3 people. With a jug of sangria this sounded good. The food was good and the Sangria great. All feeling content we asked for the bill ready to head to the fountains….when the bill came we all fell off our seats!! Over 100 euros!! Well over our backpacking budget. Lesson learnt….when you can’t read the menu move on….dont let any Spanish order ...

... in the bar, people just don't expect an Englishman to cheer a German goal. Had a bit if crack with the owners, (Jill doing most of the talking surprisingly) and then we went back to the room for a quick siesta. Another reason for loving Barca is they embrace the afternoon nap.
Normally we would go to the Gothic quarter on a night and go to a restaurant but we decided to stay local as the street we were on during the day was now busy busy and all the ...
