Diocletian's cellars were interesting and very extensive - archeologists discovered them filled with solidified medieval sewerage and garbage - subsequent residents living above the cellars had simply knocked holes in the stone floors ...

Absolutely wonderful hotel. It is part of a building which is about 600 years old. some of the original brickwork is still evident in the rooms. ... speech, so I volunteered given my experience. I used a few of the old favourite jokes and ripped on Luke a little bit which went down pretty well. After that, we had happy hour on the boat and then headed down to a little beach bar, which basically only opens when the busabout boats come through. It was quite small, however we just had a few quiet drinks and then sat on the beach for a while which was nice.
