... and the traffic was so light, almost no existent most of the time, that we simply rode to the conditions rather than the limits. We saw two speed traps, both in clear view and both warned of by traffic coming the other way. The wind, as predicted was a problem on the first part of the journey causing the bike to change direction mid corner on numerous occasions. My sphincter muscles certainly got a work out.

Our first impression of Dubrovnik even though we were sick and tired was wow!!! We struggled up to our apartment up 200 cobble stoned steps right in the heart of oldtown with the famous city walls not far above us.
