They agree so I can know go walking again on Jl. Kahuripan where I notice that Hotel Montana is offering massages and reflexology!! I cannot resist and walk in to see how it looks and to find out the cost. $5 for 1 hour of foot reflexology with a short back and neck massage ...

They, a dutch couple, inform us that there is a mini bus we can take which is a little more expensive but air conditioned and quicker, so decideding to escape the melee which is unfolding we stick with them refusing the offers from all the locals!! Half an hour later and still no sign of the mini bus the big orange Bukit Lawang bus almost ...

Cemoro Lawang, Java, Indonesia mikesblog... he replies. I can't be gone another 4 hours. I ask him to drop me off at the Catholic church and go on my way. I am still unclear, if I was being ripped off or if they wasn't a direct road. No one would give me a straight answer. I do a walking tour of the sites and go back for the massage pool. So far, I have not seen more than 5 people at the hotel. I come back and the hotel is packed. There are people all over the place. We ...

Bromo, Indonesia bafreux... take a huge breath. We all sank under, trapped by everything. I opened my eyes underwater & it was black (the water was muddy brown), it was like being blind, i tried to surface, but somebody landed on top of me, then i tried again, fighting the torrent, but was trapped by the rock, then i gave it one last go, & the raft was trapping me ...
Bukit Lawang, Sumatra, Indonesia adrian.gfc... to the actual crater space and climbed up to the rim of the volcano. It looked like such a long way around! We had very little time but decided to do it anyway. I can't imagine that I nearly came close to missing out on that walk... It was pretty steep and occasionally we had to stop as the sulphurous fumes were overwhelming, but the views back into the crater made it look as if we could just lean over and tumble straight in.
