... We did not stay long as I knew we were suppose to pay to enter the park so I hatched up loads of plans to get out of it on the way up but the guard who had appeared at the top said nothing. In celebration of our tour and the magical mountains we drank a beer and watched the remainder of the sunset. The hotel gave us the thinnest blankets and it was really cold so for the fourth time we were happy we bought sleeping bags. Its a 3am leave for sunrise over Bromo ...
... So I've arranged by flights back to Penang and I'll bus up to Phuket to start a whole new adventure.
Let's see where this one takes me, I can't wait, and definitely can't believe how lucky I am. Woohoo here's to a whole different experience, I never thought I would ever get the opportunity to go sailing on this trip, I certainly must have done something right at some point so here goes.

Bukit Lawang is a tourist hub for those wanting to trek in the jungle to see the many animals, although the main draw is the Orangutans. Unfortunately the trekking is quite expensive for 2 days or more which included camping out in the jungle, so I ended up just doing a one day trek with two lovely girls that are staying beside me Lizzy and Natasha, and had a really wonderful experience.
... I tell ya.
Turns out the waterfall was beautiful, pictures attached.
This final "trek" was actually a climb. You didn't bring a backpack because you could barely lift your own body weight up, up, up. The view at the top was amazing.

The bellhop took us up to our room (#911) and then proceeded to ask me if he could take a picture with me...I looked like complete **** after being on a bus for 10 hours! We both showered and tried to figure out how we could get to Kampong Tourist Hostel. We were using our compasses, the guidebook and google maps to determine the fastest route there and spend minimal amount of time walking ...
