The three things Brugge is famous for were hard to miss: chocolate, beer and lace. The window displays are filled with delicious treats and marzipan - a visual feast that acts as quite the temptress. ... picture for a school that dates back to the 17th century. Brick building, huge trees and bicycles everywhere! We walked through the nuns convent which is right across the school that Jaey went to. The convent itself is really quite serene, there is no talking allowed and it was the perfect weather to be going for a walk. Along our walk from the convent there is a canal which had swans and ducks. It was so beautiful, I am obsessed with swans and they are everywhere in Europe.
