And then we just spent a few hours walking around the town and the bay. This is another boating town, albeit much larger than Rovinj. All the tour boats are closed up for the season or undergoing repairs. We ate a cheap and delicious lunch at the Marina and had a great view on the water of the blue Adriatic, the amphitheater, and hundreds of moored yachts. The house wine was a yummy ...

Pula is a cute little destination and I'm glad I made my first stop there. It definitely gave me a good understanding of the beauties I would be seeing in Croatia along this roadtrip!
