The gnocci came with a garnish of tiny basil leaves, whole, not cut up. I think the basil must be treated with a growth regulator to get such a mass of tiny leaves. An interesting idea horticulturally.

... it. It took quite a while to calm her down. We walked around the Duomo, Lit a candle, and had tea outside with Mums new shawl to ward off the drafts. We had Pizza for tea which probably wasn't a great choice but the options are fairly limited
... on the rack they all hang over the balcony. It's a bit scary hanging your smalls from the first floor window, thinking "what if I drop it?!" There were a few people about the square, but it was far from crowded, so very peaceful. We found a table right by the water (like 2 metres!), and in the sun, and made camp for a few hours. Yippee! Audi picked us up and brought us the "European delivery center". They were having a slower day and only hosting 185 new car owners. Apparently a busy day is over 300. Beautiful factory and a great tour. (Charlene was ecstatic...) A quick blast down the autobahn ...
