Today sees us leaving Witton Gilbert with Passports! Vicky took us to Durham Station and then we caught the train and bus to Manchester Airport! The whole journey went very smoothly, with the exception of lugging large cases up and down stairs at York but hey ho! Very early in Airport - 1hr before gate opened. Looking forward to being frisked by Si but he's in Teneriffe! Both well and now waiting for Gate to open and signing off for next ...

It was a great, classy, 16th century coaching inn with chocolates on your pillow at night and wonderful breakfast choices in the morning all for a bargain price. ... bags. It may have only took us five minutes to walk there, but with dual carriageways, one ways and wrong turns, it took us half an hour to drive back. We loaded up and were soon speeding up the M1 towards families and Christmas back home. It felt so good I even found myself starting to hum that God-awful Chris Rea Christmas song. Wednesday Christmas Eve until Sunday January 25th Had a great time over Christmas, New Year and early January ...

... do it once never mind twice. It was time to leave and start our drive to Tim and Barbara's after a 4.5hr drive with a couple of stops we arrived at 5:30 caught up and then a walk through the nice green forrest (we dont have in Perth) it was then time to head off to the local pub and have a lovely english pub meal with a few drinks. Arriving back home around 9pm after some cake and tea it was time for a shower and bed. ...
