We've been and come back!
... Another easy day. We were joined by 2 Europeans who had been trying to climb a 7000m peak but had given up after reaching base camp and being unable to acclimatise. They struggled with the cold, and as was to prove to be the case, it was unseasonably cold higher up. One of them had developed a cough which meant she sounded like gollum every time she tried to talk. Were woken up in the night by the cries of a jackael.

... i wont need/want, and i have a very sad cat, wondering what the hells going on!
Suppose thats all i can write at the moment, next one of these will be when i'm sat in the departure lounge sipping gin, no doubt wondering what the hell i'm doing!!!!

Two days to go!
... total eclipse of the sun near Cairns, Ayres Rock and Sydney.The next stage of the trip is a tour of New Zealand`s south island followed by a few days in Auckland. Before returning home we top up the tan in Fiji. We will keep you all updated with our adventures over the next few weeks. So log on and see where we are.

Pub Grub
Last night's visit to a local pub. Sadly, they were out of Steak and Ale pie :(
The other food however, was FABULOUS. And the desserts. OMG... I died and went to a clotted cream-chocolate- sticky toffee-ice cream- caramel- flake flavored heaven.
