      ... in pasta tubes with plenty of whole seafood on the side. It was just OK, but the seafood was good.

      Travel tip: the area around the cathedral has lots of shops and hotels and is very colorful. If I were going to stay in Malta, that would be the place.

      The taxi that took us there was an overgrown Vespa and held only 3 passengers. I wish I had a picture of it.

      We headed back into Corfu Town, took pictures of the old fort, walked our bikes through the pedestrian shopping area and then down the road bordering the water.       ... to Italian churches. We then drove to Achilleion Palace which has beautiful gardens and classical statues overlooking the coast. This was built by and Austrian empress in the late 1800s - and it really was very beautiful.
