          Friday 30th October

          On the ship until 2.30 when we left by tender for the short service to Mykonos, one of Greece's most popular tourist islands.           Strong chilly winds.
          About 5.30pm we arrived at Mykonos and I was relieved to be feeling much better as I dearly wanted to see this Island which spans an area of 85.5 square kilometres and rises to an elevation of 341 metres (1,119 feet) at its highest point.           ... then I/we rented a Quad, and we hit the island of Mykonos! on our own! we are so grown up! And driving on those very narrow roads with the rest of the traffic.... scarry. there are large bussed coming at you... and there is bascially only one rule: move out of the way of anything bigger or faster than you!
