We decided to take a drive today to check out as much of the northern part of the state as possible. It's sooooooo windy that we don't want to drive Klyed anywhere. We (just by chance) saw a sign for Gooseberry Falls State Park and waterfalls. Hmmm...okay.

Two Harbors is a super quaint little old town. The people are so friendly they hug you like they have known you for years. They even ring the church bells at noon and six everyday.
I must say, if I had to live up here, this would be the city I would want to live in.

We also scoped out the town and other placed to stay. Mike really wants to be someplace where he can see the lake from our campsite. We found it. (photos tomorrow after we check in) It's a new campground that just opened the big RV portion this week! The view is to die for!

Stopped at WalMart on the way. We are regulars. Arrived to campground. Carter read they had a hot tub. No hot tub no wifi. Raining, we all took a nap. Drove into Duluth in the evening to see Lake Superior. The wind was blowing like crazy. Big waves and wind surfers. Ended eating at Mexican grille. Hungry for Mexican food. Pretty good.
