The Blog is short as we are mainly just driving to get down to Florida. The weather had gotten colder and there are few campgrounds left open. So for these reasons combined with my (Lorrie) poor health made the decision to get headed to Florida for some R & R time. The last week has been a whirlwind of moving and driving....we forget where we are in the mornings! While driving thru Boston the motorhome started making some nasty noises. Since we ...

This morning we were up before the crack of dawn. The rain
had been coming down all night like predicted and the motorhome was muggy and

did not want to wait until the park rangers came in to open the showers at
their leisure. We left and thought we would try and take the parkway this
time and pretend we were ...

... The quilts were extraordinary in range, size and quality.
We took a tour through the countryside looking for covered bridges, the kids asked why and we couldn't really answer why but to say that they were historical and from a romantic past, they were not really impressed. Nevertheless we found them and they were just that. Communities take great care with them and preserve them well, well worth ...

... think I'm in Switzerland for a minute!

Yep, Hershey definitely has its act together.

Nearing town, there's a long line of parked cars by the road. The reason? Another American tradition: fishing. Yep. There's a tiny little lake that's packed with people fishing all around the perimeter. I guess it must be the first day of the season or something. It seems to be a family event with kids, parents and ...
