Such friendly and helpful staff. Really social scene and free breakfast! Really good location within walking distance of city centre. Would recommend to anyone.

Best hostel you will ever stay in

The most personal hostel ever, more like a family home with a lounge and kitchen, you eat with your fellow travellers and become a little family unit for your stay.

Highly recommended, despite it's further than normal proximity from the city walls.

Hi everyone hope you enjoyed your nice warm beds last night!

The last few days we have been in various hostels and last night was our first @ Spicy Pai backpackers a small farm type place surrounded by rice paddis (not Irish people who eat rice) and tree huts, Georgie and I went to bed early to get a good sleep and boy was it cold …

It's hard to believe that Im so active, but today was another early morning. The jungle trek gave me this impetus to see as much as possible. But I still snoozed by 30 mins! We Set off a bit later than expected -since isha and ash forgot to get r passports at the bike rental place. Yeah that's right - it's bike time again and this time I was the …

After an on and off sleep in the jungle village, I was woken up by roosters and dogs fighting outside. I forgot to say - 8 of us were sharing one room - I felt like I was in kindergarten again where we used to have sleepovers and line up mattresses against each other. It was nice to remove all things material from our experience. The kitchen was …

Our flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai was quite early so we disturbed other guests when we headed our in the morning - I guess that trouble comes in with the price you pay for a hostel. Our morning was a bit stressful because we had to coordinate with our two new joiners - isha and Ashley! They were arriving in Bangkok at seperate times and then …

We had one full day in Chiang Mai to explore the Old City, the part where we were staying in. Considered part of the Backpacker area. Our guest house was nice and modern, clean and quiet, pretty much all you need for a night or two of travel. Its great to find a place with all those things, plus atmosphere, and then you've really found a place t...
