... of days in Munnar hanging out with peeps in the guesthouse, eating at the food stalls in the bazaar (I feel addicted to Indian bread), visiting the tea museum to learn about the history of the area, and just basically ambling a bit round. Really enjoyed myself. A real pleasant change from the coast and a great bit of fun was had. Next stop was further down to the Backwaters region. That's it then. You can wake up now, class! Keep safe everyone. Love to all Stu ...

The women do this all year long 5 and half days per week. Even in the monsoon season when the workers have to contend with being wet, leaches, land being slippy and sometimes land slides. To help with this Silver rock trees are planted in the plantations ...

I wake to a clear day to commence my trek through the tea plantation. Raju and I leave at 630am as planned for a 6k walk through the tea plantation. The sky is clear, the sun is coming up and there is actually a sunrise. No pollution here. We head downwards for about 2k then wind our way back up through the plantation back to the guesthouse. We stop for a chai on the way back, neither of us have any money but Raju knows the guy - we will pay him tomorrow. Back onto the ...

... the steam box to the point of falling asleep. About 5 minutes in I opened my eyes to see if she'd left but oh no, there she was still there staring at me about 10 cm's away so I smiled awkwardly again and said, "oooh gosh so relaxing," and closed my eyes again haha sooooooo awkward, I don't know what it is with me and steam boxes..never again. After our massages we slipped up the hill because we were two oil buckets, (Michael came out all oily and crinkly eyed but didn't have ...
