... night we decide to stay put for another day as winds still too strong. A good time to do some laundry and bit of boat maintenance. An interesting little town with historical fort but most things closed as to early in season. Scott decides he wants to get BBQ out for dinner so a supermarket dash to re provision and buy some meat! Early start tomorrow as hoping to get through the Messina straights and to the North of ...

Lunch on deck seemed extra special being cradled in, while the weather was playing sporadic havoc along the coast South of us. Milena became a "must see" for all the sailers in the area. Walking back and forth, from bow to stern, "oooooooing and ahhhhhhing" was a little disturbing as we are trying to eat lunch..... Oh well. Millie always becomes the talk of any harbor she is in. The latter ...

... back to the stern. All looks good, so I asked Marina what happened. "Oh, Robin you know and have you watched today as Alexi is always cranking in the already very taught Gand Voilles and the Tranquette (mainsail and jib)?" Marina said. "Yes, it has been making me very nervous all day... Why does he do that?" I replied. "I don't know, Robin... But HE BROKE the tranquette.... Tore it right in half!" stated Marina, very angry, and partially laughing at the humor of all the things ...
