    Another wet walk!

    ... continued! However after another half hour or so the path had become quite treacherous so we decided to turn back and headed for home!
    On return we changed then took the car to Cropani......it was siesta time and was closed.......so we headed back to the coast to find a lunch stop.

    ... the whole of this beautiful architect designed house with grand views, all to ourselves! Dinner last night was lovely with 4 very interesting and tasty courses. Washed down with a bottle of local red wine!

    And ......breakfast this morning was another excellent 4 course affair!

    Luigi, the owner, has just told us about local places of interest and walks.

    ... the strait that separates Italy from Sicily, the Strait of Messina and that was very picturesque. Lots to see on both sides through the binoculars. Had an Asian style buffet lunch, coffee and dessert downstairs, a nana nap and more swimming. The girls, Lance and Michelle went for a workout at the gym.     A 4am start and no wind but flat seas. We tried to sail but not enough wind. We motor on making good way and weather seems all good so decide to miss out going to Crotone and head straight for Sicilly another 120 miles as everyone up for another night sail. Boys have a sleep and Sal and Alison take watch, it's so calm Alison even does her gym session in the cockpit. About 5pm things change...... winds get up, seas get lumpy ...
