    ... 278k - 299k did not feel like it. Non-stop express to Napoli left 10 mins late and the journey was only 1hr20
    Coffee and snack dried cheese, stale bread, apricot juice not bad.
    Scenery green we could see villages in hills, solar panel farms, cropping and plastic houses for veges?
    Quite a few tunnels where we must have travelled under hills, so the track is fatter and faster.
    Easy taxi to hotel, the driver asked for 20 € so we paid ...

    ... catch our tour into the ruins which was already an hour late :-) Pompeii was magnificent . Just walking through the ruins was a awe inspiring experience. After our tour we got back in the shuttle and home we went . Jeff and I were lucky that we were the last to be dropped off, so we got a tour of rome at night with all it's beauty and wonder!     The mornings shopping must have got us in the mood as much of our afternoon was spent shopping. It was money well spent though as we returned to the town centre with several affordable Italian leather handbags.
