... and asked me what it is I wanted to learn. We went into their small collection of artifacts and recreations and he gave me the quick interesting and thorough R-rated version of the lecture, complete with blood, gore, rape, and the torture of criminals. It was fascinating how amazingly intelligent the Romans were at strategizing. There is a reason that they controlled such a massive empire for so long.
